I am very excited to be bringing Norfolk Yoga Therapy to The Yoga Tree in Norwich.
The Yoga Tree is a place close to my heart as it's where I studied my year long teacher training with Swami Atma Gyanam Saraswati and so it feels pretty special to be returning there to share yoga therapy.
I will be offering 1 to 1 sessions as well as a weekly yoga therapy group for mental health and wellbeing.
The group session will be a small class, no more than 6 students, and tailored to the people involved. We will be working on building a tool kit of skills to help build strength and resilience to improve wellbeing and mental health. This class will give you an opportunity to understand yourself better and begin to address the root causes of mental unrest.
If you have been struggling with your mental health and would like to take a proactive approach to feeling better then yoga therapy could help you. As a yoga therapist I am trained to be able to support people with mental health struggles such as stress, depression, anxiety and more.
Through breathing techniques, physical postures, and meditation, yoga therapy helps to regulate the nervous system, reduce negative thoughts, and increase feelings of calm and inner peace. Additionally, by building self-awareness and self-care habits, yoga therapy can help individuals develop coping skills and resilience, making it easier to manage stress and other mental health challenges in daily life.
If you or anyone you know would be interested to learn more about yoga therapy or these classes please get in touch. This class will be on Monday mornings beginning 6th March, more information on this class can be found on my website here.
